  • How much notice needs to be given before I move out?

    All contracts are month-to-month. However, we do require a 10 day notice before you move out.

    What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?

    We require a government-issued photo ID (example: driver’s license, voter id card or passport).

    What forms of payments do you accept?

    Cheques, DD, Online transfers, Online payment, Payments through Card or cash.

    Do I need to sign a long-term lease?

    No, we rent on a month-to-month basis unless the customer requests otherwise.

    How do I know how much storage space I will need?

    You can call our manager for assistance.

    Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?

    Gold or silver ornaments, Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials and perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.

    How do I make a payment?

    You can pay in person, mail a cheque or DD or make a payment through our website. You may also sign up to have payments automatically deducted from your credit card/savings/checking account monthly.

    Does Safestorage charge Deposits or Administrative Fees?

    No. Safestorage does not charge deposits or administrative fees.

    Can I store an car/motorcycle?

    Can I get insurance for my belongings?

    Yes. SafeStorage insurance provides coverage for your belongings while in storage.

    What kind of security does Safestorage offer?

    Safestorage offers multiple levels of security to protect your belongings.  Levels of security can range from 24x7 Security to Bio-metric controlled access to storage rooms, and may also include round the clock CCTV video monitoring, perimeter fencing and intercom systems.

    Can I tape my boxes? 

    Sure, Although we use biometric access to protect against theft of goods, please feel free to tape up your box if it makes you more comfortable.
