01 About SafeStorage
SafeStorage Technologies and Services Private Limited is a company incorporated under the Companies Act, India, and has been providing storage and related services since 2015.
The SafeStorage name, logo, mascot, trademarks, website content, mobile application, and associated intellectual property are owned by SafeStorage Technologies and Services Private Limited and are subject to trademark protection.
02 User Accounts
To access certain services, users may be required to create an account. Users agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information.
- Maintain the confidentiality of account credentials.
- Promptly update account information when changes occur.
- Accept responsibility for all activities performed under their account.
SafeStorage reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or misuse the platform.
03 Mobile Application Usage
When using the SafeStorage mobile application, users agree:
- Not to misuse, reverse engineer, or tamper with the application.
- Not to attempt unauthorized access to systems or data.
- Not to use the application for unlawful purposes.
SafeStorage may release updates, enhancements, or modifications without prior notice.
04 General Storage Terms
- The Customer accepts that it is their responsibility to ensure that information such as ID Proof, Address Proof, or any other demographics shared with SafeStorage is accurate, and agrees to update it in case of any change.
- SafeStorage reserves the right to undertake all necessary steps to ensure the security, safety, and integrity of the Customer's goods.
- SafeStorage may take various steps to verify and confirm the authenticity and enforce the validity of the orders placed by the Customer.
- The term of storage begins on the first day on which the Company receives the goods or material.
- These Terms of Service shall be binding upon the Customer for as long as the goods or material remain in storage at a SafeStorage facility.
- The Customer has the right to request the return of goods by placing such a request under these Terms of Service.
- A minimum of one month's charges will be levied if goods are retrieved within a month. After the first month, charges are calculated on a pro-rata basis to the retrieval date.
- The stored Material shall be delivered only to the Customer or to a person authorized by the Customer. The Customer must inform the Company through their registered email ID, along with supporting documents such as the ID proof of the person, in case of retrieval by a third party.
- The request for removal of stored Material is not confirmed until it is acknowledged by SafeStorage.
- The Customer must notify SafeStorage 7 days (or more) in advance in case of a goods retrieval/delivery request.
- The Company will try to fulfill the request for delivery of Material on the date requested by the Customer (depending on slot availability).
- The Company reserves the right to change the date of delivery after consulting with the Customer.
- Any such change of date shall not exceed 3 business days unless requested and agreed upon by the Customer.
05 Restrictions on Stored Material
- The Customer shall not store any narcotics, arms, ammunition, food, perishable goods, liquids, gases, living or dead plants or animals, waste, or materials which are flammable, explosive, toxic, polluted, contaminated, radioactive; organic material or that which might attract vermin or insects; or any other materials which are otherwise illegal, dangerous, and unsafe to store or handle in an enclosed area.
- If the Customer stores any of the above prohibited material without SafeStorage's knowledge, the Company is not responsible for any damage or consequences arising from the same.
- The Customer shall not store negotiable instruments, cash, jewelry, antiques, or items that have intrinsic market value.
- The Company has the right to open and inspect any materials tendered by the Customer for storage and to refuse acceptance of any material.
- These Terms of Service only provide the Customer with the right to store Material approved and accepted by the Company and do not grant rights to access or tenancy in any particular portion of the Company's offices and storage facilities at any location.
- The Customer shall store only empty gas cylinders. The Company has the right to empty the cylinder in case there is any gas in it.
06 Limitation of Liability
- The Company shall exercise such care in regard to the Material as a reasonably careful person would exercise in like circumstances. The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage to stored Material, however caused, unless such loss or damage resulted from a failure of the Company to exercise such degree of care. The Company's liability, if any, for loss, damage, or destruction, however caused, to part or all of the Material stored shall be limited to one month's rental charges.
- If the Company is unable to provide any contemplated service because of acts of God or public enemy, seizure or legal process, strikes, lockouts, riots and civil commotions, or other reasons beyond the Company's control, or because of loss or destruction of goods for which the Company is not liable, the Company shall not be liable for failure to carry out such instructions or services.
- The Company shall not be responsible for damage caused by gradual deterioration, wear and tear, pre-existing conditions, scratches due to transportation, corrosion/rust due to wetness/water, atmospheric or climatic conditions, or items damaged due to electrical and mechanical breakdown during storage.
- As the Company will not be checking the working condition of electronic goods (TV, Music System, Computers, Laptops, etc.) and electrical items (Refrigerator, Washing Machine, Dishwasher, Oven, Mixer, etc.), the Company cannot assure the same after delivery. SafeStorage is only liable for physical damage (refer to point #1 above).
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SafeStorage shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of its website, mobile application, or storage services.
07 Insurance Terms
- General insurance shall cover only natural calamities, fire, and theft. The Company shall not be responsible if the Customer does not provide the value of goods while preparing the inventory during pickup.
- General Insurance does not cover loss or damage during transportation and handling in the warehouse.
08 Payment, Cancellation & Refunds
- The Customer agrees to pay the Company according to the rates agreed as per the quotation.
- The Customer agrees to pay for storage and service one month in advance.
- The Customer agrees to pay additional storage and packing charges for items not mentioned in the quotation. Charges for additional items would be a minimum of Rs. 100 or more, according to the dimensions of the items.

Any extra-large items are to be discussed with the SafeStorage team. For a smoother transaction, we request customers to clarify any queries in advance. In such cases, the SafeStorage team will calculate charges based on size and revise the storage, transport, and packing charges accordingly.
- The Customer also agrees to pay all Government service charges or GST, which are subject to change.
- Payment can be made through bank transfer, online payment, the Website, or by Cheque / Demand Draft in favor of the Company (SafeStorage Technologies and Services Pvt. Ltd).
- The Customer authorizes the Company to raise a monthly invoice in the Customer's name and to send intimation of the same via email / mobile SMS / any other acceptable mode of communication.
- In case of any refund, it will take 10–15 days for SafeStorage to refund the amount based on the payment method chosen at the time of payment.
- For GST input tax credit, it is the Customer's responsibility to provide the GST number to SafeStorage before the invoice is raised.
- The storage charges will remain in effect until the last date on which the goods remain in storage, or 12 months from the pickup date, whichever is earlier.
- The Company is under no circumstances bound by the rates after the expiry of 12 months from the date of pickup.
- If the Customer fails to make any payment within fifteen (15) days of billing, late charges will apply at the rate of 2% per month on the unpaid amount.
- If storage charges remain unpaid for ninety (90) days, the Company shall have the full right to withhold services, terminate this Agreement, and/or sell / auction / destroy the stored Material.
- Cancellation charges of INR 1000 + taxes apply if a confirmed pickup/delivery is cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled date. There are no cancellation charges if the Customer postpones, prepones, or cancels up to 48 hours before the scheduled pickup date.
- The Customer agrees to make all payments due to the Company, including past-due charges, before the termination of the booking.
09 Privacy
The collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
10 Account Deletion
Users may request account deletion through the designated account deletion process available on our website.
Upon verification, SafeStorage will process deletion requests within a reasonable period, subject to legal and operational retention requirements.
11 Electronic Communications
By creating an account or using our services, you consent to receive:
- Service-related emails
- Booking confirmations
- Payment notifications
- Important account updates
- Promotional communications (opt-out available where applicable)
You hereby authorize and consent to SafeStorage Technologies and Services Pvt. Ltd., either through itself or through a third-party service provider, to send from time to time various information / alerts / SMS / other messages or calls or commercial communications on the listed telephone numbers, whether or not these numbers are registered with the National Do Not Call Registry / National Customer Preference Register. You confirm that by sending any such messages/calls, you will not hold SafeStorage or its third-party service provider liable or institute a complaint under the Telecom Commercial Communication Customer Preference (TRAI) Regulations, 2010, or such other applicable regulations.
12 Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, software, designs, graphics, text, and materials displayed on the website and mobile application remain the exclusive property of SafeStorage Technologies and Services Private Limited.
No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.
13 Liability Disclaimer & Force Majeure
SafeStorage and its affiliates have no liability and will make no refund in the event of any delay, cancellation, strike, force majeure, or other causes beyond their direct control, and they have no responsibility for any additional expense, omissions, delays, or acts of any government or authority.
SafeStorage shall not be liable for its failure to perform under this agreement as a result of any Force Majeure event, such as acts of God, fire, war, sabotage, civil unrest, labor unrest, action of statutory authorities and local / central government, or change in laws / rules / regulations affecting the performance of SafeStorage.
14 Language, Disputes & Governing Law
- These Terms of Service have been written in English (India). To the extent any translated version conflicts with the English version, the English version controls.
- The laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles, shall govern these Terms of Service.
- Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
15 Customer Declaration
The Customer agrees that:
- He/She is the rightful owner of the goods, the goods have not been stolen from anyone else, and authorizes SafeStorage (SafeStorage Technologies and Services Pvt. Ltd.) to store all his/her goods.
- SafeStorage has the authority to shift goods from one warehouse to another if necessary.
- No material is illegal/immoral as per Indian laws, or otherwise of a kind for which storage with a license is required.
- The goods will be inspected by SafeStorage before being accepted into storage.
- In the event that the Company is made a party to any litigation by reason of having possession of stored Material, the Customer will indemnify, hold harmless, and defend the Company against any costs, losses, damages, or other liabilities, including legal fees, resulting therefrom.
- The Customer agrees to switch off the Refrigerator, Washing Machine, Water Purifier, and Geyser 24 hours before the pickup date and ensure they are moisture-free and dry by pickup time. If the Customer does not hand over dry appliances, SafeStorage takes no responsibility for any fungus found after delivery.
