π Storage & Security FAQs
8 questions about warehouse security systems, CCTV, fire safety, and data protection.
What CCTV system does SafeStorage use?+
SafeStorage warehouses use Hikvision 4K cameras across a 64-channel DVR system with 30-day on-site footage retention. Every entry and exit point, loading bay, aisle, and emergency exit is covered without blind spots. Footage is available on request for incident investigation, compliance audits, or client visits.
What fire suppression system do you use?+
SafeStorage uses FM-200 clean agent fire suppression manufactured by Tyco. FM-200 is a gaseous suppression agent β it extinguishes fires rapidly without water, foam, or powder. This means your stored documents, electronics, files, and goods are not damaged in the event of a fire suppression event. All facilities also hold valid Fire NOC certification.
Is access control in place?+
Yes. SafeStorage warehouses use Honeywell Pro-Watch access control with biometric verification and RFID card entry. Only authorised SafeStorage warehouse personnel can enter the storage area. External access requires prior written authorisation. Every entry and exit is time-stamped and logged, creating a full audit trail.
Is the facility air-conditioned?+
SafeStorage warehouses are temperature-monitored but not temperature-controlled to pharmaceutical cold-chain standards. They are not suitable for cold-chain items such as vaccines, certain biologics, or frozen products. For pharma clients with specific storage temperature requirements, please discuss your needs with our team before booking so we can advise correctly.
Are items stored with other clients' items?+
No. Each client has a dedicated allocated zone within the warehouse. Your items are physically segregated and never mixed or commingled with another client's stored goods. This dedicated zoning is required to maintain chain-of-custody documentation and is audited as part of our ISO 9001:2015 quality management processes.
Is my inventory data secure?+
Yes. SafeStorage is ISO 27001 certified for information security management. Your inventory list, item descriptions, business information, and account data are stored on secured systems with role-based access control. Your inventory data is never shared with third parties, other clients, or external services.
Can I visit the facility?+
Yes. Facility visits are welcome and encouraged for compliance officers, procurement managers, IT heads, and CXOs conducting vendor due diligence. Contact us on 8088848484 to schedule a tour of your nearest SafeStorage warehouse. Visitors are escorted and logged per our security protocols.
Is there 24/7 on-site security?+
Yes. SafeStorage warehouses have 24/7 on-site security guards stationed at all facilities. Bosch intrusion alarm systems monitor all access points and perimeters continuously. CCTV monitoring is active around the clock. Any intrusion or alarm trigger activates an immediate response protocol.
