Is pickup included in the price?+
Yes. Doorstep pickup is included in the standard service at no extra charge. Our team arrives at your premises, packs and barcodes every item, and transports it to our warehouse. There is no separate pickup fee for standard requests within our service cities of Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi NCR, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
Are there any hidden charges?+
No. SafeStorage pricing covers pickup, warehouse storage, and standard retrieval. The price you are quoted is the price you pay. GST-compliant invoices are provided monthly. The only additional charges apply to custom packing materials (foam crating, specialised boxes) which are communicated transparently and approved by you before they are applied.
Do you offer discounts for long-term storage?+

How long does pickup take to schedule?+

Do I need to pack items before pickup?+
No. SafeStorage's pickup team handles all packing at your premises. They bring packing materials, wrap and protect items, apply unique barcode labels, photograph each item for condition records, and load everything into the vehicle. You do not need to prepare or pack anything in advance β€” just make items accessible.
What vehicles do you use for pickup?+
SafeStorage uses a company-owned and GPS-tracked fleet. Tata Ace vehicles handle small residential or office loads. Tata 407 trucks manage medium business volumes. Tata LPT 709 is deployed for large enterprise pickups involving furniture, equipment, or high-volume document archives. All vehicles are operated by trained SafeStorage staff.
Can I get same-day pickup?+
Same-day pickup is not a standard offering. The standard SLA is 48 hours from booking confirmation. What happens at pickup?+
The pickup team arrives at your premises during the agreed time slot. They systematically wrap and protect each item, apply a unique barcode label to every piece, photograph items for condition records, load everything into the GPS-tracked vehicle, and hand you a digital pickup receipt with the complete barcode inventory. You receive a copy of this inventory by email.
Do you disassemble furniture?+
Yes. SafeStorage can disassemble standard office furniture including desks, chairs, shelving units, workstation panels, and conference tables before pickup. Every entry and exit point, loading bay, aisle, and emergency exit is covered without blind spots. Footage is available on request for incident investigation, compliance audits, or client visits.
What fire suppression system do you use?+
SafeStorage uses FM-200 clean agent fire suppression manufactured by Tyco. FM-200 is a gaseous suppression agent β€” it extinguishes fires rapidly without water, foam, or powder. This means your stored documents, electronics, files, and goods are not damaged in the event of a fire suppression event. All facilities also hold valid Fire NOC certification.
Is access control in place?+
Yes. SafeStorage warehouses use Honeywell Pro-Watch access control with biometric verification and RFID card entry. Only authorised SafeStorage warehouse personnel can enter the storage area. Is the facility air-conditioned?+
SafeStorage warehouses are temperature-monitored but not temperature-controlled to pharmaceutical cold-chain standards. They are not suitable for cold-chain items such as vaccines, certain biologics, or frozen products. Are items stored with other clients' items?+
No. Each client has a dedicated allocated zone within the warehouse. Your items are physically segregated and never mixed or commingled with another client's stored goods. Is my inventory data secure?+

Can I retrieve only some of my items?+
Yes. Partial retrieval is the standard operating model. You can retrieve a single box from a storage of 500 boxes. The remaining items stay in storage and billing continues at the same rate. There is no minimum retrieval quantity and no penalty or processing fee for partial retrievals.
Do you deliver to a different address than pickup?+
Yes. Retrieval can be delivered to any address within the same city as the storage facility. If your office has moved, if you need items delivered to a client site, or if you want files sent to a branch office, simply provide the delivery address when submitting your retrieval request.
What if I need retrieval faster than 48 hours?+
